Resident Assistant – Certified Direct Care Professional (CDCP)
As a Resident Assistant you can work at our RCAC or CBRF assisted living communities and are responsible for providing personal care and supportive home care to older adults. Resident Assistants provide direct care activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, mobility, toileting, transferring, and medication administration.
Resident Assistants are active team members in every aspect of our Resident’s care and lifestyle including providing home support services: basic meal preparation and service, dishes and cleanup, housekeeping, laundry, and leading and participating in resident activities.
It is essential to have time management skills, a positive attitude, compassion, flexibility, and the ability to participate in a cooperative and productive team environment.
We can assist applicants who are not certified in becoming certified with paid training and a bonus upon completion. There is room for additional growth to also become a Certified Nursing Assistant.
